GENESIS TODAY
CORPORATE RE-BRAND, 2018-2019
Overview:
In August 2018 I joined as one of 3 members on a very lean team that would grow into the new and improved, Genesis Today. We started as the branding division to our Texas partners to turn out innovation in the health and wellness space, quickly and for little cost.
When we took over the brand Genesis Today, it was a fresh slate to bring the existing company to modern times in design and product offerings. Along with a product developer, we repositioned the company into a 'Benefit-forward' concept that serves as a buildbord on shelves. Big bold font, vibrant color, and to-the-point positioning is what sets us apart in the now very contemporary industry.
My acting role is Creative Director, but I have had my hand in almost all aspects of our rebrand and operations. Our team started off as lean as lean can get. This meant that aside from the Creative Director, I was acting all the way down to the graphic designer, vendor management, product research, and even product development. It is my responsibility as the sole creative to start off, to cover all aspects of the design realm and communicate any untapped area to the team. I sourced packaging, created dielines, tactically made mockups for many non-existing products. I created all presentations including their marketing aspects. To even creating and researching regulatory language and supplement fact panels to meet FDA guidelines. My heaviest hat aside from creative was and still is in project management. From our lean team in the beginning to today with 5 more team members, it is important to communicate deadlines and our team's timelines as the roles grew from loosely defined to streamlined. I took a lot from my non-creative jobs in my past and implemented project management tools to keep all our ever-flowing ideas in one place in order to up productivity and internal understanding.
I am so proud to show the work I have been apart of for the last 13+ months. We have five active SKU's in all Walmarts across America. DSP and Paid social ads across the internet. As well as in-store advertising. We have created 100+ SKU concepts, and continue to pitch to big-box retailers and distribute them on Amazon.com.

Guide creative team in multi-level design concepts and direction, while collaborating with corporate leaders to give new life to failing brands, new concepts, and innovations.
