Overview:

While working at FASTSIGNS in the West Loop of Chicago, I had the opportunity to experience creating and printing a vast variety of digital work for an even more vast variety of clients. These clients range from a Joe off the street who screenshot a picture of his nice he now wants to be vectorized (without knowing what vectorized means, of course) and blown up to human size, to the dedicated Grandma who was tasked with making a custom banner for her grandchild's first birthday, to the corporate project manager that needs a sign for Fiesta Night. To which they all needed their project completed yesterday, of course!

Although some work I printed was pre-designed, the creators were usually at all different levels of digital knowledge. Therefore I usually had to, at the very least, perform pre-flight tactics in order to complete even the most basic print jobs.

Below, please enjoy the client work that I either collaborated with the client on or was given free reigns to design from scratch. As well as some internal marketing material. The common theme among all of these designs is a requested message that needs to be delivered, 99% of the time under immense time constraints, size restrictions, and specific client opinion.

Formal Job Description:

Sole Graphic Designer and Printing Specialist at West Loop location. Duties include contributing full graphic design services, preparing all files for print, consulting with customers on their printing needs. Expert knowledge in color management, in-house production protocols, and all machine and software maintenance. Leader in project management and increasing company productivity. Consult and implemented all marketing strategy efforts.
